The architect of this new America

Wow! I never saw this coming! I was so shocked by this news? I almost fainted and I almost got a concussion. (To borrow an ever popular expression of our times).

Time selects Obama as 2012 Person of the Year

Time magazine has named President Barack Obama as its 2012 Person of the Year.
"We are in the midst of historic cultural and demographic changes," Time managing editor Richard Stengel said in announcing its choice. "And Obama is both the symbol and in some ways the architect of this new America."
So.....there you have it. The man most responsible for this nation languishing in the throes of joblessness and a ubiquitous recession that never ends. The man directly responsible for doubling the national deficit in under four years of his first term. The man most responsible for spending more money than the combined total of all of his predecessors.

He is chosen person of the year for his triumphs over common sense and reason. He is chosen for demonstrably doing more to harm this nation than our enemies have been able to accomplish since the end of WWII.

Barack Obama is "person of the Year!"

But then again, so have other great men. Men like Joseph Stalin. He was a two time winner. Then who could ever forget Adolph Hitler. Or Ayatollah Homeini. They were both winners  Of course all American presidents are two time winners since FDR's day. Of course FDR is the only three time winner. I guess there is still hope for Obama to make a tie with FDR.
